General Terms and Conditions of Hire
Waiver of Liability
By using the premises, facilities, or equipment of BLANK The Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Participation in any activity within BLANK The Studio may involve inherent risks — including, but not limited to, physical or emotional injury, damage to property, or other unforeseen incidents.
In consideration of being granted access to the space, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless BLANK The Studio, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, or causes of action arising from or related to your use of the space. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, legal claims, accidents, judgments, fines, or legal fees — whether incurred by yourself or any of your guests or collaborators.
This waiver remains in effect for the duration of your booking and continues to apply to any claims arising from your use of BLANK The Studio at any time.
Limitation of Liability
BLANK The Studio accepts no responsibility or liability for:
- Personal belongings or equipment lost, damaged, or stolen during your booking.
- Digital files or content created or stored on site.
- Technical issues or disruptions beyond our control, including power outages or equipment malfunctions.
- Any incidents, accidents, or outcomes resulting from activities conducted by hirers or their guests during the use of the space.
All bookings and activities conducted within the studio are done at the hirer's own risk.
Conduct & Responsibility
Clients are fully responsible for the behaviour, conduct, and safety of themselves, their guests, and any individuals associated with their booking.
Disrespectful, unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate termination of your session, and you may be refused future bookings. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
BLANK The Studio reserves the right to remove or ban individuals at its discretion to ensure the safety, comfort, and integrity of the space.
Damage & Security Deposit
A pre-authorisation hold has been placed on the card used for your booking as security against any damages to the studio space, lighting equipment, furniture, props, or other venue contents.
You are responsible for any damages caused by yourself or attendees during your booking period.
The studio is fully monitored by CCTV throughout your session. Pre and post-booking inspection checklists are conducted to document the condition of the space and equipment.
Any damage identified through CCTV footage, inspection, or any other means will be charged to the authorised card on file for the full cost of repair or replacement of the equipment, regardless of cost or value. If your card fails or declines, you remain liable for all damages. We will arrange an alternative payment method for said damages, or failure to pay will result in legal action.
Safety & Security
- Your safety is important to us. The studio is equipped with clearly marked emergency exits and safety equipment.
- For security purposes, BLANK The Studio is monitored by CCTV. Footage may be reviewed if incidents occur.
- Please drive cautiously and no faster than 12 km/h within the complex — this is an active industrial area with foot traffic.
Insurance Recommendation
For commercial shoots, large-scale productions, or events involving third parties, we strongly recommend that clients hold appropriate public liability insurance. This helps protect against any incidents involving crew, talent, or equipment not covered by BLANK The Studio.
Acknowledgement
By booking or using BLANK The Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions in full. You accept full responsibility for all activities held under your booking and acknowledge that BLANK The Studio accepts no liability for such activities.
